Cosmetic surgery is a popular approach for rejuvenating distressed skin. In our office, we use only the safest methods and state of the art equipment that meets the highest medical standards for your protection and comfort. For aging, scarred, or pigmented skin, we offer a variety of treatments* such as:
VBeam Perfecta® Laser- The most updated pulsed-dye laser technology, specifically designed for skin rejuvenation, treats many skin problems including facial redness and capillaries, rosacea, scarring, cherry angiomas, leg veins, freckles, sunspots, new stretch marks and others.
Restylane®- A hyaluronic gel skin filler, used in treating moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Restylane® is one of the most studied and used products in cosmetic treatments today, meeting medical safety standards and providing optimal results.
Botox®- Among one of the most popular cosmetic treatments, Botox® is extremely effective at reducing and/or preventing crow’s feet, and wrinkles between the brows and forehead. The injections are administered in the office, are almost painless, and the entire process takes approximately ten minutes with no recovery time needed. Botox® is FDA approved, and has years of use proving its long term safety.
Sclerotherapy- We also offer Sclerotherapy for the removal of spider veins. In a simple procedure, the veins are injected with a sclerosing solution which causes them to collapse and fade from view. It may also remedy the symptoms associated with spider veins, such as aching, burning, swelling, and night cramps.
Dermabrasion- Dr. Mitchell performs dermabrasion resurfacing for scars to improve their texture. This procedure is also extremely effective at smoothing the surface of noses that are bumpy or swollen from severe rosacea.
Earlobe Repair- Dr. William Long repairs stretched out or torn earring holes.

Surgical Services
MOLE AND SKIN CANCER REMOVAL
Prevention is the best policy. This includes protecting your skin from the sun and visiting a dermatologist once a year for a skin examination to catch pre-cancerous spots. We provide definitive surgical treatment, including cosmetically-optimal reconstruction, for skin cancer or abnormal moles on the face or body. These outpatient procedures take place in the comfort of our own office.
MOHS MICROGRAPHIC SURGERY
Dr. Mitchell performs Mohs micrographic surgery. The highly specialized procedure is the standard of care for skin cancers on the face, scalp, and neck or for recurrent skin cancers. This highly specialized procedure has a cure rate of 97-99%. Dr. Mitchell examines the margins of the affected skin under the microscope while you are in the office to ensure complete removal without removing more normal skin than is absolutely necessary. Dr. Mitchell also gained expertise during her fellowship reconstructing the skin with aesthetically optimal results.
