I went to see Dr. Wendy Long Mitchell for basal cell carcinoma on the bridge of my nose which required MOHs surgery. I was extremely apprehensive regarding the procedure and equally apprehensive about the end result. I was fearful of winding up disfigured and horribly scarred. My worries were groundless. Dr. Wendy was thoughtful, kind, extremely personable, and highly efficient. She talked me through the entire procedure and addressed each of my concerns. I was very comfortable and felt no pain as she worked. The result was a very short, fine and thin scar which I have no doubt will fade very quickly and will probably disappear entirely by the end of the year. She will perform a laser treatment and I will use scar pads to ensure the line fades rapidly. As to Dr. Long’s office, there was no wait and no crowded waiting room. Her appointments are punctual, and her staff is pleasant and courteous. The added bonus is that she accepts Insurance, including Medicare. Not many MOHs surgeons with Dr. Wendy’s experience and credentials do. It took quite a bit of time and research to find Dr. Wendy Long Mitchell, but it was worth the wait and the effort. I highly recommend her.

Have been going for years. This year I was diagnosed with a basal cell on the side of my head. Moh surgery was scheduled for 9 in the morning. After one scrape I was declared clean and stitched up and released. Lab on site so no long waits for diagnosis. Out by 11. One week later stitches out. Now 2 weeks out and the scar is as invisible as one can expect. Great job by Dr Wendy and her staff. I will always go here for my dermatology needs. P.S. I live 90 miles away and it’s worth the trip to see a professional.

I saw Dr DeFelice for a second opinion and she was kind, knowledgeable and incredibly empathetic. Felt much better after having spoken to her. Great bedside manner and seen in a timely fashion.

She is awesome! Very patient will my million questions...took the time to explain and break everything down. Had a cyst which she drained...my appt was at 1:30, by 1:55 I was on my way back to work. So nice!

Dr. DeFelice is amazing. She makes you feel so comfortable and no matter what your concerns or questions. She is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I always enjoy my visits!
