I hesitate to post a rave, because it's hard to get an appointment with her as it is, but Dr. Wendy Long Mitchell is the absolute best.

Careful efficient flawless

Dr Long has been trsting me for 25 years. I am very satisfy with his care. I give him a five start rating.

I went to see Dr. Wendy Long Mitchell for basal cell carcinoma on the bridge of my nose which required MOHs surgery. I was extremely apprehensive regarding the procedure and equally apprehensive about the end result. I was fearful of winding up disfigured and horribly scarred. My worries were groundless. Dr. Wendy was thoughtful, kind, extremely personable, and highly efficient. She talked me through the entire procedure and addressed each of my concerns. I was very comfortable and felt no pain as she worked. The result was a very short, fine and thin scar which I have no doubt will fade very quickly and will probably disappear entirely by the end of the year. She will perform a laser treatment and I will use scar pads to ensure the line fades rapidly. As to Dr. Long’s office, there was no wait and no crowded waiting room. Her appointments are punctual, and her staff is pleasant and courteous. The added bonus is that she accepts Insurance, including Medicare. Not many MOHs surgeons with Dr. Wendy’s experience and credentials do. It took quite a bit of time and research to find Dr. Wendy Long Mitchell, but it was worth the wait and the effort. I highly recommend her.
